Description
A fitted halter dress with a deep V-neckline and a full, sweeping skirt, built for structure, not softness. The bodice is fully lined for a clean, couture-like finish, and the halter band is interfaced to hold its shape all day instead of stretching out.
Skill level: Intermediate
Best fabrics: Jacquard, brocade, satin duchess, mikado, or structured crepe — the silhouette depends on body and volume, so soft or drapey fabrics won’t hold the skirt or neckline shape
You’ll need: An invisible zipper (45–55 cm), lightweight fusible interfacing, matching thread, and lightweight lining fabric for the bodice
PDF format: Both A4 and A0 included (print at home or at print shop)
Closure: Invisible back zipper
Details: Fully lined bodice with bust darts for shaping; the halter/back-neck band is interfaced for structure and won’t sag at the neckline; seam allowance is already built into the pattern (1 cm)
